Summer's Dark Waters

Summer's Dark Waters is a book I wouldn't have dreamed of writing several years ago. It's essentially a supernatural / fantasy novel for kids (aimed roughly at 10 to 12 year olds, although younger readers with a high reading age may appreciate it as well), but older kids and adults should hopefully find it worth reading as well. To be honest I don't mind who reads it. Obviously if more people do, then great.

In a sense it's really an experiment, to see if I can write this sort of thing. A bold experiment- and perhaps, given the unforgiving nature of the readership, a very silly one.

This is also my first work where I'm collaborating with an artist (Ankolie) who created full-page illustrations for the book.

All the royalties from the book (both paperback and electronic) are being donated to children's adoption and fostering charity TACT

The book is available on Amazon (paperback and Kindle- just click the book cover below) and direct from my publisher.
